Deep Breaths




After a stressful day, I like to go home and try on new outfits. Maybe it's some sort of therapy for me? I've convinced myself that dressing up and looking pretty will somehow make me feel better inside. I'm also distracted from my earlier problem by my now tornado-stuck closet and bedroom...

And you know what? I think I'm onto something. The simple act of trying on that new shirt (the purple one I'm wearing is actually passed along from a friend!) or swiping on some lip gloss makes me feel like a new person inside: a strong, capable, and happier woman who's ready to face whatever is thrown in her direction.
